If we won’t find the right form of entertainment for ourselves, or the offered repertoire of cinemas and theatres doesn’t suit us but we still have a lot of free time, it is worth taking a walk around Poznań. If we have more time, it is worth going to the Malta or the Botanical Garden.

Sołacki Park

Park Sołacki is one of the most picturesque parks in the center of Poznań. In its central part is Port Sołacz, a restaurant and a small hotel. After a spectacular renovation, the building has become a popular and eagerly visited place.

Port Sołacz is open 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. In the mornings, it serves delicious, reasonably priced breakfasts. In addition to the à la carte menu, it also serves pizza from a wood-fired oven.

The restaurant is located in one of the most picturesque parks, right on the shore of a pond. The area looks fabulous regardless of the season.

The restaurant received the MICHELIN GUIDE 2024 award. 👉 #VisitPoznan

Malta

Lake Malta, a popular place for Poznań residents to relax, was created in the 1950s by damming the Cybina River. The lake has a surface area of 64 ha and is the venue for many important kayaking and rowing regattas. It is the largest artificial lake in Poznań. Such an attraction in the very center of the city is envied by all those who value places where you can relax but also spend your time actively.

The name of the lake comes from the Knights of Malta, i.e. the knights of the Order of Saint John, who had their headquarters, church and hospice here.

Those looking for closeness to nature will find peace and quiet during walks around the lake. Children will not be bored here either, because they have playgrounds, rope parks or attractions on the ski slope at their disposal. Water sports enthusiasts can practice kayaking, rowing or wakeboarding here. 👉 #VisitPoznan
